Join our master class and learn the refined technique of creating exquisite bullion knots using a variety of fun embellishment threads. Guided by the queen of stitching, Sue Spargo, learn tips & tricks to create the perfect bullion knot, and unique ways to use them in your current projects.
In this class, you will:
- Learn how to stitch bullion knots along with multiple variations like bullion loops, cast-on bullion knots, beaded bullion knots, bullion chains and more!
- Experiment with a variety of embellishment threads and discover Sue's favorites for achieving dimension with every stitch
- Upgrade your technique with the use of bullion knot needles
- Enjoy the company of other like-minded stitchers wanting to refine their skill!
- Creative Stitching Book
- Fat 1/16 hand dyed wool
- Needles: Milliners #3, 1 and 15, Bullion Knot Long/Regular and Short/Fine
- Embellishment threads in a variety of weights and fibers: Petite Very Velvet, Painter's Soft Cotton, Silk & Ivory, Painter's Gimp, Eleganza or HOB Perle Cotton in #8, 5 and 3
- Chalk pencil
Cancellation Policy for Classes and Events
Cancellation fees reflect the cost of registration, staff, instructor contracts, material acquisitions, and other services. This policy applies to all registrants, regardless of the reason for canceling. We encourage you to take our cancellation policies into consideration before registering for classes.
If you need to cancel your registration, you have the following options:
Transfer:
Registrants who cancel their enrollment in a workshop held in our Ohio studio may make a one-time transfer to any other workshop held in our studio.
- Transfers may be made either in the current workshop season, or any workshop in the following year. Transfers must be made more than 30 days prior to the workshop.
Refund:
If you prefer not to transfer your workshop registration, the following fees apply:
- More than 60 days prior to the workshop, refund of your deposit minus a 20% cancellation fee.
- Less than 60 days prior to the workshop, no refunds will be issued.
Redirect:
Registrants are able to send someone in their place into the workshop for no additional fee. In this case, no refunds will be issued, payment arrangements are the responsibility of the original registrant if needed
Class is held in our Ohio Studio located at 3755 Boettler Oaks Dr, Suite B, Uniontown, OH 44685. Class is held from 9am to 4pm, Friday, August 16.
Coffee and tea are provided, as well as use of our fridge and kitchen. Lunch will not be provided, please bring a bagged lunch or plan accordingly!
Supplies are available for purchase in-store during class if not purchased ahead of time.
